What's in a First Aid Kit? DC Safety has been designing award winning custom made first aid kits for over 30 years. While we have existing designs, our customers typically look to DC Safety to suggest appropriate content in order to maximize value, space, and cost while keeping in line with all current agency recommendations. DC Safety utilizes on staff medical consultants as well as published recommendations from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and the National Safety Council to help plan proper kits. DC Safety knows that the contents of a first aid kit are there to increase your safety and the safety of your family. These kits are not meant to replace emergency medical care – but can be invaluable while awaiting "first responders". More often, the kit gets greater use in "away from home" day-to-day activities – on the soccer field and the park.
